METRO is pleased to announce it will provide bus service on Independence Day, Monday, July 4, 2022, in the same fashion as Memorial Day service. Fixed-route and ADA services will follow a Saturday schedule, while Demand Response services (SCAT, METRO Connect, FlexRide, and Call-A-Bus) will operate with limited service.
"We’ve decided to extend the added holiday service to Independence Day as well this year,” said METRO CEO Dawn Distler. "Providing holiday service will continue to benefit essential workers and those who rely on METRO for daily travel. We believe that offering extended service for transit-loyal riders is the fair and equitable thing to do and we will continue to provide additional service when feasible."
METRO recommends calling Customer Care at 330-762-0341 for service-related information, including scheduling for Demand Response services.
