HELP US PLAN STRATEGICALLY FOR THE FUTURE!
METRO enhances the quality of life for our community by providing innovative transportation that is safe, dependable, cost-effective and customer-focused. We realize our community is changing and transit should change with it to accommodate the dynamic needs of our residents.
Over the next six months, we will engage you, our neighbors and financial supporters, to help chart a 10 year, actionable plan that enhances access to opportunity in our region. We want all members of our community to be part of this process, because whether you realize it or not, our collective livelihood depends on a stable and robust public transportation network. We want you to be involved with all three stages of the process and there are several ways you can do so.
The strategic planning process will answer the "big three" questions in three stages:
Stage I: Where are we now? (January – March)
Stage II: Where are we going? (April – May)
Stage III: How do we get there? (May-June)
STAGE 1: WHERE ARE WE NOW?
From February 3 – April 6, we are collecting feedback through an interactive, online survey. This survey will give you the chance to provide significant feedback about your travel needs and what you consider to be most important for public transportation. Take the survey here.
In addition to the online survey, we would like to hear your other thoughts and ideas as we develop service goals. Please use this link to provide specific comments using our Feedback Form.
STAGE II: WHERE ARE WE GOING?
In late April, we intend to reach out to those of you who expressed interest through a webinar that will address what we’ve learned and what direction we should be heading. The webinar will be accessible on our website.
STAGE III: HOW DO WE GET THERE?
In June, we will host another webinar in addition to a few open houses to celebrate our progress and stepping toward our collective future.
