METRO Regional Transit Authority, a 300+ employee transit authority located in Akron, Ohio is seeking an experienced professional to join our transit management team as the Director of Planning and Development.
The individual selected for the position will direct planning and development (including rail) services, manage Metro’s leases, search for grants, respond to requests for proposals, and evaluate and modify existing services.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an advanced degree and 5 years relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience which provides the required skill set to perform the essential functions of the job.
