7th Ave. is closed at Lucy St. Outbound route #25 will make a left on Lucy St., right on Duane St., right on Hart St. and left back on 7th Ave. Inbound will follow the same detour in reverse.
ROUTE #29 INBOUND BUS STOP CLOSURES - BEGINNING MAY 6
The City of Akron will start waterline work on South Main St. from South Main and Emerling Ave. to South Main and Gregory Ave. Monday, May 6. Due to the construction, South Main St. will be reduced to one lane in each direction, and northbound lanes will be shifted. The lane shift will result in the temporary closure of bus stops for the inbound route #29. Notices will be placed on these stops to alert riders and the stops will be covered during the project.
Stops that will be temporarily closed are:
#1102 S. Main St. and Emerling Ave.
#3118 S. Main St. and Cole Ave.
#2333 S. Main St. and Stanton Ave.
#2796 S. Main St. and Gregory Ave.
