METRO is currently seeking applicants for its journeyman mechanic apprenticeship program.
This is a 24-month training program which should ultimately qualify the apprentice to become a journeyman mechanic and perform all phases of bus repair.
The position requires 1-2 years post high school training at a diesel tech school. Applicants can have no more than 2 points on drivers license and must pass a drug screen, functional capacity exam, physical, and background check prior to acceptance into the program.
