It's your lucky day! Beginning Monday, August 27, METRO will expand Cleveland service to include the Veterans Affairs hospital in Wade Park, the Terminal Tower area for those going to the Horseshoe Casino, and the entrance to the Greater Cleveland RTA’s Red Line train to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

The weekday service runs Monday through Friday and the fare is $5.00 each way. The fare for seniors and persons with disabilities is $2.00.

The x61 will begin at the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center and takes passengers through downtown Akron and into Cleveland. Additional stops include the Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland State University. To view the complete schedule, click here

The x61 expansion is a trial service and it is expected to be in place for a year. After the year is over, public hearings will be held to determine whether the route will be modified. The service will be periodically evaluated and adjustments made as necessary.
