METRO Regional Transit Authority, Akron, Ohio, is currently seeking eligible applicants for the position of Maintenance Foreman. Duties will include supervise mechanics who repair the buses. Knowledge of large vehicle repair, supervisory experience, and a results-driven attitude are minimum requirements. Prior experience in heavy duty transit bus repair is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent, a Class B CDL license, five to seven years of relevant (supervision) experience, or any combination of education, training, and work experience that provides the candidate with the required skill set needed to perform the job. The successful candidate will be required to submit to a drug test and fingerprint check prior to hire. We offer a competitive wage of 50, 000 +, and an excellent fringe benefit package.
